My primary research interests lie within the  general framework of theoretical cosmology and gravitational physics. I obtained my PhD  and MSc degrees in cosmology from the Department of Mathematics and Applied Mathematics, University of Cape Town, and my BSc degree in physics (with a minor in mathematics) from Addis Ababa University.

               -covariant consistency analysis of f(R) field equations

               -quasi-Newtonian and anti-Newtonian cosmologies

               -collapse models in f(R) gravity

               -inflationary f(R) models
