David Mota, born in Luanda-Angola, is a professor in astrophysics at the University of Oslo - Norway. My research centres on the exploration of phenomena at the interface of cosmology and high energy physics.
In particular, I am interest to investigate cosmological and astrophysical consequences of particle physics beyond standard model and extensions to Einstein General Relativity. I aim to look for new connections between cosmology and fundamental physics.
My research includes theoretical investigations on the nature of dark energy, dark matter, and gravity. Besides the more theoretical work, I also use observations from galaxy surveys to test such theories.
